About
Hi, I'm Nikki.
Much of my philosophy is shaped by my connection to the wounded healer archetype. Through my own experience, I know that pain, when met with curiosity and compassion, becomes a doorway into growth, connection, and purpose.
My story
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who approaches psychotherapy as both a science and an art—an intimate, transformative process rooted in authentic human connection. My work is grounded in depth and spiritual psychology, drawing from Jungian theory, object relations, and existential theory. I believe that healing comes from more than simply changing behaviors. I believe our thoughts, feelings and behaviors are all messengers carrying cut off pieces of self wanting to be known.
I do not believe in hiding behind a strictly professional or clinical facade. I show up as my authentic self to build a genuine connection grounded in love. I believe that a caring relationship rooted in authenticity, respect, and love is central to the healing process. Together, as fellow travelers, we engage in the meaningful and often profound journey towards healing.
There is no coming to consciousness without pain.
— Carl Jung
My approach
Much of my philosophy is shaped by my connection to the "wounded healer" archetype. Through my own experience, I know that pain, when met with curiosity and compassion, becomes a doorway into growth, connection, and purpose. Therapy, to me, is a sacred space where individuals can safely encounter the parts of themselves that have been hidden, rejected, and silenced, and begin the process of integration and self-discovery.
From an existential perspective, I hold the belief that while death is life's only certainty, it is precisely this truth that calls us to live with intention. We each carry the responsibility, and the opportunity, to create meaning, to grow toward our Truest Self, and to live in alignment with what is most authentic and alive within us.
In our work together, I aim to support you in uncovering your True Self, integrating all parts of your experience, and cultivating a deeper, more meaningful relationship with yourself and the world around you. This process can be challenging, but it is also deeply transformative. As we move through it together, my intention is to offer not only insight, but also presence, warmth, and a genuine belief in your capacity to become who you truly are.
